Fun-filled program of hands-on skills training in the outdoors, training designed to help you master basic camp skills required for solid Boy Scout program. You will learn how to set up camp, cook, work with woods tools, learn about ropes, apply first aid, plan campfires, read maps, and orient with compasses. Learn hiking and packing techniques, natureID, scoutmaster logistics, and Leave No Trace. This training will help you deliver quality Scouting program to our youth. You will also work with other Scouters, meet new friends, and reinforce skill techniques with fellow leaders.  SM Specific & IOLS are required trainings to obtain TRAINED status for Boy Scout Troop leaders with direct contact with Scouts:  Scoutmasters, Assistant scoutmasters and those registered leaders who work with scouts and is important to meet the Journey to Excellence
