The Unit Commissioners will have recharter packets AFTER the roundtable meeting this week. The packets must be delivered to and receipt signed by the Committee Chairperson or Chartered Organization Representative. Since recharter is an administrative duty, no recharter packet will be delivered to a unit leader. Online recharter is open and units may start the process immediately after receiving their packet. All registered adults must be current with Youth Protection Training in order for the unit to recharter. Council also requires JTE 2012 and FOS dates be submitted with the completed charter packets. When the recharter process is complete, the information must be reviewed and signed by a commissioner. This can be arranged with your unit commissioner. Units also have the option of bringing the completed packet to November's Roundtable or to Pennsburg's Recharter Deadline Day on 12/1/12, 9:00am at Emilie Methodist Church. Unit CC's or CR's can let the commissioners know which option works best for them. Traditionally, Pennsbury District requests each unit to make a $20 donation to Christ United Methodist Church for allowing us to use their facilities for District and Roundtable meetings. The donation may be turned in with recharter, written as a separate check made payable to the church. |
