Name in Green means you are "good"

Everything that is in Yellow must get done and the good news is that you can do all of this over the internet.  Here is how to do this... 

Youth Protection Training (YPT) must be done ASAP if it is Yellow above and you must be able to provide a copy of your certification  No one can work with the boys as a leader or be on the charter without having completed YPT first!  To take YPT and the other training...you must go on-line.  Here is the link you should use for the Adult Training web page http://scouting.org/training/adult.aspx.  Note: This web page contains links to training course overviews and requirements by position and group for all of Scouting.

Then go back to the Adult Training web page (http://scouting.org/training/adult.aspx) and for Cub Scouts select the "More info" target; it will look a little like the following...

The "More info" link will take you to the account create/sign-in page and look like this... 

Everybody but (#Insert Names#) already has accounts.  (#Insert Names#) unless you already created an account, use the  "Create an account" button and fill in the information; use your ID# from the training record table above and Council #777.

Note 1:  If you do not have an ID# at this time, just leave it blank and when one is issued you will be able to go back in and update your profile with the ID#.  Not having an ID#  does not prevent you from taking any and all of the online training!

Note 2:  Existing account holders please login and go into your "My Profile - Update My Profile" from the left side bar.  Check the "Membership Info" section and add the Bucks County Council (#777) as part of your profile and your ID# from above if it is not already there.  This will link any prior training you have completed before you had your ID#, this included YPT if you had taken that already.

Now you are set to begin training by selecting from the left side bar "Training - E-Learning".  Note:  Please select the correct tab for your unit type, in our case select the "Cub Scout" tab.  It will look like this...

As an existing or new Cub Scout Pack Leadership Member, the required training to considered "Trained" and what is need to be considered a "Quality Unit" are...

1. Youth Protection Training - DO THIS FIRST and Print Out a Copy of Certificate!
2. Fast Start Training - for your position.  Example: If you are a committee member take "Pack Committee Fast Start".  Note: Come back here each time your position changes to get your new training.
3. Leader Position-Specific Training - for you position.  Example: If you are a committee member take "Leader Position-Specific - Pack Committee".   Note: Come back here each time your position changes to get your new training.
4. Orientation Training - This is Scouting.
