Well why not think about working at Camp Kirby, we currently searching for a Program Director for our Cub Scout Resident Camp from July 19th till Aug 22nd (There will also be some other training weekends required). | In 2010 the Boy Scout will be celebrating their 100th anniversary. Click here to see some the many things that will be happening as we approach this milestone in scouting. As part of the up coming anniversary the national office has put together a video describing scouting through the year. |

Program Launch is a great way to start planning your scouting year. Information will be coming out such as a Draft of the 2008-2009 calendar, Popcorn Training, and Displays from area vendors. Please fill out the attached form and send it in to reserve your spot. |
| Veterans Awards |
Attention: Scouters. If you or someone in
your unit wishes to apply for a Veteran Status Award,
please forward an application to the Council
Office. Veteran Awards are usually presented
at the Council Recognition Dinner in May. If you
wish to receive yours prior to that, or at a different
event, please attach a note with instructions. Awards for 5 to 20 years are processed through the Council Office. Awards for 25 years or more are processed through the National Office after the application is received at the Council Office; their usual turnaround time is about 3 to 4 weeks.
