Details:

 Join the Scouts and Scouters from Bucks County Council as they meet the challenge that only a Philmont backpacking expedition can bring. Explore mountain peaks and backcountry trails on a 12-day, 50 -mile trek. Hiking is only the beginning - crews will choose from rock climbing, black powder rifle shooting, western lore, horseback riding, gold panning, and much more.

We'll leave Bucks County on Saturday, July-19-2014, and fly to Colorado for a possible overnight visit at the Koshare Indian Museum in La Junta, CO and an evening of exciting Native American Dancing - then on to Philmont. We'll return on Friday, August 1, 2014.

Cancellation Policy: Costs are estimated to be $2100 per person. A $350 deposit will hold your place – if later canceled, a portion of the deposit may not be refundable depending upon the time of cancellation. Airline tickets, once purchased (most likely in May of 2014), are non-refundable. A payment schedule will be established to ease the financial burden.
