- Some Places to Hike
Bob Beck has assembled a list of 48 local area locations to go
hiking or camping. This list is most helpful in that it gives a lot
of choices to consider when you are saying "where can we go?" Once
you have narrowed down the list to a few places that seem to best
meet your troop's needs, then secure detailed information, before
making your final plans. Now let's see where we can hike. If you are

- How to Deal With Difficult People
People are not difficult they are just different. As a leader you
must learn to adjust to different situations and types of people. The
first step to successful adjustment is your attitude. Without a good
attitude you become just as difficult as the people with whom you are
trying to work. Next is to understand why people seem difficult.
Three major things make people difficult. They are communication,
behavior, and relationships. Sam Herb, our Assistant Council
Commissioner has created a slide presentation titled "Difficult
People - How to deal with them". If you are interested in
learning more, check out www.buckscountybsa.org/people/people.html.
