cooperation with Trails-End Popcorn and the Virginia Diner Peanut Company registered
Bucks County Council scouting members and families are invited to
participate. This Spring Sale is an
opportunity for units or members to help with immediate needs, but does not
replace the fall Trails End Popcorn sale. Take Order Forms are available
for each product line; participation can be in one or both. Individual scouts may participate even if
their unit is not; commissions can be applied to summer camp fees or a gift
certificate good at the Council Trading Post.
PRODUCT SALE DETAILS
Sales Time: February 19th through April 2nd. (Sales may start immediately upon receipt of the Official “Nuts For Scouting” and/or “Trails-End” Take Order Form) Special Offer: 50% of total sales are offered to scouts or units attending a Bucks County Council Camp (Ockanickon or Camp Kirby). Payment should be made in full; credits will be applied to camp fees. Sales Commission: 40% of total sales are to be retained by the unit for scouts attending camps outside Bucks County Council. This spring sale is intended to be very simple – No prizes, no patches. Sales Orders Due Date: All orders must be received by April 2nd. Popcorn Orders can be placed via the Trails End Website using the same passwords as the fall sale. Peanut orders can be mailed, faxed, phoned, emailed, or hand delivered using the Unit Summary From to the attention of Anna Marie Pepper. Product Pick-up: Saturday April 21st between 9:00 and 11:00 am at Council Office. Payment Due Date: The total Due To Council is to be paid when you pick up your order. Checks may be postdated to May 7th. Payment should be made on one unit check to Bucks County Council, BSA. Units may retain their commission if going to an out-of-council camp or it will be applied to BCC camp fees.
WHAT TO DO
NEXT
Turn in your completed Unit Sales Commitment Form to become an official participant. Pick up Take Order Forms as you need for your “sales force”. Get started – Have fun – Earn $$$$ for your spring and summer scouting program.
